Competition is Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Braxton Brewing Company 27 W Seventh St Covington Ky, 41001 and will begin with welcome receception at 8:30.  Competition judging will begin at proptly at 9:00.   Out of town judges and stewards can bring entries the day of the competition but they must arrive no later than 8:30 AM.   We ask that all Cincinnati Area participants drop your entries at one of the drop locations as it can be very busy the morning of the comp.  

There will be two rounds of judging followed by BOS judging and awards announcements.   

Approximate schedule for the competition (times subject to change)

Judge sign in- 8-9

Morning Session: 9:00-11:45

Lunch Break 11:30-12:30 (Lunch provided)

Afternoon Judging Session: 12:30-2:45

BOS Judging:  3:00-3:30

Some judges score the beers using a digital scoresheet and others use the conventional pen and paper format. You could possibly get both scoresheets in the electronic format, get both in the conventional format or you could get one in each format. The digital scoresheets should be available the evening of the competition. The scoresheets in paper form will be scanned and uploaded into the competition software. That should take no more that 1 week.
